Briefing
Media Markt proposed a challenge: they wanted an original, different Christmas dinner. An event aimed at all company employees. They wanted the whole team to have an unforgettable experience, but they also wanted to motivate, build loyalty, incentivise and reinforce team spirit and brand values. It was a motivational event that made all attendees feel at ease and engaged on the day and with the brand. At the same time, social and emotional bonds among the attendees and with the company were strengthened.
Media Markt wanted to surprise and reward all participants, creating an incredible event where they could enjoy a memorable night with the rest of their colleagues.
From Be. we came up with the proposal of a theme based on an “American Circus”, where the participants would feel immersed in the purest “Cirque du Soleil” style circus.
To this end, we proposed one of the best and most suitable locations: we present to you the Poble Espanyol Tent. It was an event at which the participants did not cease to be surprised throughout the gala dinner.
The experience
Stilt walkers, magicians, unicycles, caricaturists, a fakir, jugglers and a host of artists mingled with the audience: interacting with them and introducing them to the spectacular world of the Vintage Circus!
Meanwhile, on the central stage, with a 360º view, there were several shows where people were awed with the spectacular Aerial Hoop Show, the contortionist, the Cyr wheel, the aerial fabric show, a show with customised carioca-style LEDs featuring the brand logo, and an incredible Bubble Show.
All this with painstaking and careful decoration, with every detail considered to ensure perfection and to achieve an air of authentic vintage circus: chill out areas, support tables, decorated bars, centrepieces, a photocall, cloakroom tickets, napkins, and a host of personalised materials for the event.
Just like the gala dinner, all the food was themed for the occasion, such as caramelised apples for dessert, sugared almonds, popcorn served in cones made on the spot or candy floss, which obviously could not be missing in a celebration like this.
